# Activate your license

Activation connects the plugin to your subscription so you can create plans and generate articles.

## 1. Get your license key

Copy your license key from your account at [**keywordrush.com/panel**](https://www.keywordrush.com/panel). It looks like this:

```
XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX
```

## 2. Activate

1. In the WordPress admin sidebar, open **Too Much Niche → License**.
2. Under **Enter license key**, paste your key (use the **Paste** button, or paste it manually).
3. Click **Activate**.

That's it — the plugin connects to your subscription and unlocks.

## What you'll see

Once active, the **License status** card shows your **Plan**, renewal date, the **site** this license is activated on, and your monthly credit usage — e.g. *“X used · Y remaining.”* This information is fetched live from KeywordRush.

## Next

You're ready to build. Head to the [**Quickstart**](/getting-started/quick-start.md) to create your first site.

Need to move the license to another site, deactivate it, or fix a lapsed subscription? See [**Manage your license**](/account-and-licensing/manage-license.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://tmniche-docs.keywordrush.com/getting-started/activate-license.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
